KING OF THE ALPS FILM CONTEST

Each entry should have a general focus on : King of the alps “one race, many motivations”

All entries must be submitted in digital format.

The film should begin with the 16 second "KING TEASER” Download at www.king-alps.com

The length of the film is to be between min. 60 seconds - max.180 seconds, this does not include the 16 second title screen.

Filmmakers may work together in groups or submit entries as an individual.

At the end the film you must have the following information: Producer’s name or name of group, place and date.

The producer(s) of the film, by participating in the King of the Alps Film Contest, give their permission that the organizer may use and distribute the film without restriction.

All entries must be submitted in English, or in another language with English subtitles.

All material used in the film must be original, and not copied from another source. Plagiarism of any kind will result in disqualification.

Each film must have one Lead Producer to serve as the main point of contact.

Recognition and prizes will be given to the lead producer and those listed as co-producers on the entry form.

No copyrighted materials (music, images, etc.) may be used for this contest unless you own the copyright or have a license to use the material for this film. Written permission must be obtained and provided upon request for all copyrighted materials.

There is no entry fee.

Content must comply with all local and national laws, content of the film must not

  1. promote illegal behavior;
  2. support racial, religious, sexual or other invidious prejudice;
  3. advocate sexual or violent exploitation;
  4. violate rights established by law or agreement;
  5. invade the privacy of any person; or
  6. be otherwise inappropriate as determined by Population Connection in its sole and conclusive determination.

All entries must be emailed to tw@king-alps.com with a:

  1. Completed film competition entry form ( download here )
  2. Link to their film on youtube
    And you must
  3. Upload the film on the https://www.facebook.com/kingalps/ page in a post with a short description

The deadline for submissions is 6:00 pm on 18th June, 2018.

The winner will be decided by a combination of likes on facebook and a judging pannel consisting of 3 members (each jury member has 50 votes).

The judges’ decision is final.

Winners will be announced Friday,  6th July 2018.

The only compensation for submitting a film is the opportunity to be awarded a prize if the entry wins. DRD4 ASV will pay filmmakers no additional compensation nor be liable to the filmmaker under any circumstances.
